Note it, please.

Dear Students,
I apologize if I could not reply your emails yesterday, I was sick the whole day.

Please pardon today's message, for I've had enough.
Many of you are absolutely CLUELESS on what to do.
Some of you have emailed me, (rather rudely) asking me to give ideas for your models, which should not be the case. You are meant to RESEARCH and COME UP with your own ideas, and models. I have my own ideas, but the marks are YOUR marks in the end.
Not mine.

So stop being lazy and research up yourself.
Model wise, those doing rocks is kinda hard. As so long it's related to any part of your presentation it should be fine.

About Project Work

Dear Students,
I think you have not understood much about the Project work.
First of all, you are to think of a creative way to produce a 3D or 2D model, diagram or picture (to be well labelled) that is self made.
Processes, landform, and/or impact your group intends to convey.
Please refer to the previous post about expectations.
upon completion, each group will present their final product to the class. This is where you can use PPTs to help in your presentation.
Use cuecards to help in your presentation to.

Project work presentations will start this week, from the 4th of March.

Like I promised,

Rock cycle
[Remember 5 points! Processes and important points underlined.]
- Magma in the mantle rises towards the Earth’s surface, which cools and solidifies to form igneous rocks.
- Weathering and erosion break down igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks into sediments
- Sediments are compressed into layers of rocks called sedimentary rocks.
- With intense heat and pressure, igneous or sedimentary rocks are transformed/metamorphed into metamorphic rocks.
- As rocks sink into the mantle, the intense heat from the magma causes the rocks to melt.

You can find this Rock cycle explanation in the slides.
Study well, and smart,
ALL THE BEST FOR THE TEST!

Annular Solar Eclipse

Photobucket
The Sun is seen at the peak of an annular solar eclipse on the sky above Anyer beach, Banten Province, Indonesia, Monday, January 26 afternoon. During the solar eclipse peak, the moon shadows 92.82% of the sun surface. Some cheering and banging on drums as the moon slowly crossed its path, blocking out everything but a thin, blazing rim of fire.
